Ghana has continued to reform his infrastructure industry to achieve its world-class developmental blueprint. Restructuring, commercialization, ease of doing business, and promotion of fair competition have made Ghana’s infrastructure industry attractive to domestic and foreign investors. From transportation, ICT, to power, Ghana has received a significant boost in foreign investment, and there remain several untapped investment opportunities in Ghana’s infrastructure Industry.

Adequate Regional and National Connectivity

By almost all indicators, we are ahead of other low-income countries in terms of functional road networks. We have adequate primary and secondary road networks that promote both regional and national connectivity. We are one of the few countries that have met almost all the best practices for road sector institutions.

High Urban and Rural Electrification

We have made remarkable progress in both urban and rural electrification. When compared to other low-income countries, Ghana has higher rural power coverage than its peers. According to the Center for Global Development (CDG) in 2017, 85% of Ghanaians have access to stable electricity. Accelerated expansion is in progress to ensure everyone has access to power.
